Why wouldn't you survive life in Los Santos?

The world of Grand Theft Auto It is a slightly distorted parody of reality. That is, Los Santos is inspired by Los Angeles, California. Fortunately, real LA is not as cruel and unusual as the setting for Grand Theft Auto 5. Real life has more traffic and less bank robberies; more parking tickets and less police chases.

While the Grand Theft Auto The universe may sound exciting, and Los Santos certainly has its charms, you don't want to find yourself transported to this fictional world. Like the pseudo-exaggerated Wild West of Red dead redemptionRockstar has created a relentless world that chews the players and spits them out. Here are a few reasons why you wouldn't survive life on the streets of Los Santos.

Police shoot first, ask later

Police brutality is a complex issue in real life, but it is a fact in Los Santos. The Los Santos Police Department appears to have a shoot first policy, ask questions later when it comes to crimes. Even for non-violent crimes, you can suddenly find yourself in a shootout with half a dozen officers. This trigger for the happy police force can also be summoned on a whim. Staring at security guards or driving uniformed officers away could lead to your wasting it.

Giving in to your criminal impulses could even justify the intervention of a more reckless command team. The well-appointed National Security Compliance Office (N.O.O.S.E.) is … a little too involved in its jobs. After receiving a desired level of three stars, these fans will be deployed, shouting things like "I kill to live", among others, more vulgar phrases. Worried? You should be.

Reckless drivers, dumb NPCs

Grand Theft Auto 5 It gives players the freedom to be as reckless as they want with their handling, but they're not the only ones on the road. There is a lot of NPC in Los Santos who have adapted to the brutal lifestyle there. Sometimes that just means screaming abuse across the street; other times it means being as violent as any gamer character.

There are many videos showing that even when the players (mostly) obey the rules of the road, NPCs will occasionally crash into them. Instead of apologizing, the citizens of Los Santos are prepared to face the damage. Are you ready to get into daily fights? I do not think so.

Crime really pays

What kind of career do you imagine having in Los Santos? In addition to presumably not paying well, gas stations and convenience stores experience violent robberies on a daily basis. The most lucrative career in Los Santos appears to be a combination of car robber and bank robber. The name of the game is literally Grand Theft Auto, after all. If you want to maintain a luxurious lifestyle full of luxury cars, then you will have to resort to a life of crime.

This means putting yourself in the firing line of violent police force. But, if you can escape them, you will be rolling in green, gold and probably drugs. Crime really pays in Los Santos, tempting law-abiding citizens to resort to questionable tactics to keep up. This is a "live fast, die young" lifestyle, so don't expect to enjoy a long life in Los Santos.
