TIM now accepts Emergency Aid to pay bills and recharge

On Tuesday (19), TIM announced that it now accepts the use of Emergency Aid to pay bills, in the case of control and postpaid plans, or to make recharges, on prepaid lines.

In practice, the operator’s customer can use the virtual debit card generated by Caixa to make transactions. Learn how the following two procedures work:

How to use the virtual card at TIM?

To pay the bill with the virtual card, simply access the area logged on the TIM website and choose the option “pay with card”, to settle the monthly expense of your cell phone.

For those who want to recharge, the digital tool can be used through the self-service platform, by dialing the number * 244 #. After that, just enter the necessary data to confirm the credits on the line.

Claro and Vivo also accept cards

Like the competitor, Claro and Vivo also accept the use of Caixa’s virtual debit card to make recharges in their respective cell phones. They announced the initiative about one and two weeks ago, respectively.

However, TIM is the first to offer the use of digital resources also to the control and postpaid segments. Oi is the only one that has not yet released any such initiative to date.
