Mumbai:

The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested a 25-yr-old person from Mumbai for allegedly threatening to kill Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a police formal reported on Saturday.

Kamran Khan, a resident of Chunabhatti in jap suburbs, was arrested by the Kalachowki unit of ATS, the formal explained.

Uttar Pradesh Police’s social media enable desk experienced gained a WhatsApp information on Friday in which the sender threatened to kill Adityanath in a bomb blast, he mentioned.

A situation was registered at Gomatinagar Police Station versus an unidentified man or woman beneath IPC area 506 (felony intimidation), said Vikram Deshmane, Superintendent of Law enforcement, ATS Maharashtra.

UP law enforcement alerted Maharashtra ATS soon after the message was traced to Mumbai, he stated, next which the sender was tracked down and Khan was arrested, the SP reported.
