The Vasai Road-Gorakhpur coach, which left the city on May well 21 was diverted through Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Adra and Asansol stations, Western Railway Professional Ravindra Bhakar, PTI claimed.
“There is no problem of the practice dropping its way or its driver forgetting the route. We were being pretty significantly conscious that it is likely to pass by means of Rourkela station. For the duration of its halt, the coach been given h2o and other necessary points before proceeding in the direction of its destination,” Rourkela Station Manager Abhay Mishra claimed.

Commenting on this, Chairman of the Railway Board V K Yadav claimed that considering the fact that most of the migrant unique trains were being terminating in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, the railways has determined to consider decongested albeit for a longer time routes to operate these trains.
Using note of the targeted traffic congestion, the Railway board has made the decision to briefly operate the trains originating from Vasai Street, Udhna, Surat, Valsad and Ankleshwar stations of Western Railway and some stations in Konkan Railway and Central Railway on the diverted route through Odisha, Bhakar clarified.
“Due to large visitors congestion on Itarsi-Jabalpur-Pt. Deen Dayal Dayal Nagar route, trains will now operate on the diverted route by means of Bilaspur, Jharsuguda and Rourkela stations in Odisha,” the official added.
